In this witty and incisive satire on the American political scene, Brandon Sindos uses the medium of Nursery Rhymes to poke fun at the insane antics that the people have come to accept as a normal part of politics. While reading Welfare Mother Goose the Rhymes will make you laugh, the reality will make you cry, and the whole book will make you think.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The world of modern American politics has become analogous to an episode of the Twilight Zone, where the majority of participants are insane and will eagerly chastise anyone who seeks to contradict their world view. With this in mind I was inspired to write a book which satires the political climate in two ways. The first being the delivery of the rhymes, the second being the premise of nursery rhymes, because even a group of young children would be more productive and respectful than our current politicians.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I wouldn’t be able to fabricate the “characters” if I tried. The people referenced in this book are only slightly satirized versions of themselves.
