What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
When I met my first author, she mentioned how her characters talked to her. This was a common theme I discovered, when I attended my first romance novel convention. I thought all my favorite authors were crazy. So, you can imagine what I thought when it started to happen to me.
I was driving to play tennis on Sunday, February 23, 2013, when a real conversation that took place outside Sedona, Arizona played in my mind. The next thing I knew, five women started to tell me their stories.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Five women started to tell me their stories, in my mind, out of no where in the middle of one of my trips! It was the oddest thing. Since I was leaving for Los Angeles and Mexico the next day, I purchased a five-subject spiral notebook to capture my thoughts. For nearly the two weeks while I was gone, I put pen to paper to world build, do character development, and plot my book.
