A book of 22 quirky short stories. These are dark surreal tales, which have a dramatic twist at the end. The stories are full of despicable characters, as well as freaks, outsiders and odd balls. The stories are set in different times, some in the past, a couple in the future. Often the victim in the story rises up and seeks revenge. The stories maybe dark, but they are also satirical.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I began writing short stories and discovered this format really worked for me. I began to put together a lot of short stories and it seemed logical to put them together in a book. I also did the illustrations that go with the stories.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Sometimes ideas for stories or the principal characters, just pop into my head. For example the name “Little Mite” came to me. I decided Little Mite could be a sister bitch from Hell and wrote a story about a sister who ruins her older sister’s dream marriage by carrying out a malicious prank. As I said my characters tend to be despicable. I try to imagine how they look, how they would speak, their devious behavior. A character becomes more complex as the story develops, however with short stories I establish the character very quickly…even the first line can say a lot about the character.

Mercedes Shwartz had just had the most incredible orgasm, but her pleasure was still incomplete. While the man was still pumping away, she stretched over to her bedside table and took hold of a sharp pointed object. Rather than let him reach any kind of fulfillment, she killed him. He would never have felt much, a quick jab in his arm, a minimum of pain or fuss. She just had these compulsions, she could not control. She could not stand the “after-talk” after making love, it had happened once and it had made her physically sick, she could not take the intimacy.
