I’ve been in love with the Fiery Boys for ten years now, so I was incredibly excited when they announced a reunion tour. Their music meant more to me than most people realized–it had literally saved my life.
Back before they broke up, most people screamed for Chuck, the tall, seductive singer. Gabe, the guitarist, was usually their second choice, although I never understood why. Besides, I didn’t want those two. The one I wanted was River, the buff and sexy drummer with the shaved head. Buck, the blue-eyed bass player, was my second favorite. No denying it, these were four gorgeous rockers.
Not that any of this really mattered. I wasn’t foolish enough to fall prey to the usual fan-girl fantasies that made people wait by the stage door and rip their clothes off. Well, except with River, who I could get pretty delusional about–he was crazy hot.
But then two amazing things happened. First, the Fiery Boys ran a contest, offering one lucky woman the chance to ride on their tour bus for a week.
And second, I won.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was actually inspired by a meditation that I did in Sedona, Arizona. The idea that came to me was to write a romance where the heroine meets four men and it's not obvious which one she will fall in love with. The four members of the band are all strangers to her. Who will it be?
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The characters needed to evolve as the heroine meets them and gets to know them. Three of them had to be "unavailable" to her, and the fourth was then her lover. But what qualifications are necessary for the man and the woman for them to be a good couple? The man was a rock and roll musician, but he still needed to be an ideal man for the woman. And the woman needed to be more than the average groupie in order to be ideal for the man.

As I walked down the aisle of the Fiery Boys tour bus completely naked, I paused to consider the transformation I had undergone. This was not supposed to have happened–I'd told myself it wouldn't, many times. And yet, here I was, acting like a horny wannabe. I managed not to laugh at myself as I strutted toward the living room. So many other women had done this–why couldn't I?
The boys were sitting at the table, not expecting to see me like this. When I came into view, they whooped out loud, laughing and applauding my excellent choice of clothing.
I stopped in the hall and propped my hands on my hips, a classic groupie pose with a touch of haughtiness. I loved the feeling of posing like this, totally captivating all four of them. There were no other men in the world I'd do this for.
Slowly, I advanced toward the living room table, exaggerating my wiggle as I walked. My sexy Fiery Boy lover and I stared at each other with barely contained amusement and a hunger that all could see.
I came to a stop by his side and gave him my best game. "Oh, I just love the Fiery Boys!" My voice was an octave higher than normal and loaded with adulation. I even let out a full fan-girl squeal. "How can I get that big, strong rocker between my legs?" I swiveled my hips and pulled his face to my belly. The other three pounded the table and hooted.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and held me tight. "This outfit ought to do the trick." He stood up, slung me over his shoulder, and carried me back to the bedroom amid catcalls and whistles from the living room.
