What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I suffered through countless injustice, battles and frustrations over the course of my 40-year career in the corporate world and came to the conclusion that a collection of unsavory personality, or behavior, types were responsible. That led to the idea that those personalities could be mapped to distinct types of animals which I could then utlize to create a field guide for younger professionals that would help them easily recognize the problem people and deal with their damaging and demoralizing actions. In essence, a practical tool that makes use of all my experience to help new professionals (as well as those with some experience who may be struggling) and call out, and push back on, some of the deserving villains in the coporate world.
