What inspires you to write?
I am inspired by the needs I see around, where my experience and ideas could be of use. I may choose different narratives and styles to convey the message, however, it is a great satisfaction if someone finds my “words” transforming.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am an outliner. I usually begin with visual story using PowerPoint as a medium (I am quite good with my presentation skills), collect relevant images from Google that further fuel my ideas and then start writing story around it.
What advice would you give other writers?
It might be good if we “just write”
How did you decide how to publish your books?
My writing journey had began only a few years ago, evolving from articles to eBooks. While I am still evolving, I wanted my writing to reach to a wider audience before it is shunted by an individual opinion. It exposed me to diverse feedback and criticism, helping me work on the areas of improvement while strengthening the positive areas. If you are not a trained, experienced writer or absolutely sure of your writing, it is a good idea to begin with eBooks; even if it means giving it for free.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think book publishing will continue to grow as more and more people around the world are inclined towards information and knowledge. Growing awareness about saving paper and convenience of eBooks might just take a fair share of digital content. But that will however impact the size of books since not many people find it convenient to flip through all pages in a book.
