My name is Carlton Page , I am from Los Angeles, California. I grew up watching the best Cartoons and anime ever in my opinion and that is where i drew most of my inspiration. other forms of inspiration come from people i know and classes that i have taken throughout the course of my life and i am glad i can share my experiences and thoughts with the world.
What inspires you to write?
A little bit of everything in life inspires me to write about life situations and how life can be complex and great at the same time.
Tell us about your writing process.
I sit with a pad and brainstorm and idea tree and create scenarios from that tree and and then cycle the scenario through multiple events with different characters.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Yeah all the time being that some of them are based partially on people i know.
What advice would you give other writers?
Eat one bite at a time but make sure each meal gets finished, no matter how long it takes to finish.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I took a class in college that required us to read snippets of short stories and scenarios out loud to the class and people really enjoyed my work so that pushed me to become something greater. When i decided to publish i did not know how to do it and still am kinda clueless.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The simple fact that everyone and anyone can be a published writer now gives way to many new opportunity and many new voices.
