What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
My granddaughter, Macy who is Down syndrome was my inspiration. I often watched her and wondered if she were able to distinguish the difference between her and other children. If she does, she seems not to mind.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I already had my lead character, Macy. Adding a family, friends and other characters was simply imagining who Macy would talk to.
