“When Dark Paths Meet” is the riveting true story of two people on different courses of life who are brought together by circumstance, and then willingly allow themselves to be used by the spiritual forces of evil to inflict havoc on unsuspecting men through dark magic and mind control. Even as they enjoy success however, the two begin to experience repercussions for their actions. All the while, there is a mother praying fervently to a loving God for their deliverance before it is too late.

Teens through young adults or parents of teens
I guess what makes this genre different is that no one else has this story because it is about my life. Oh yes, there are similarities to others, but I’m the only one that lived this one. It is mine, mine to own and be responsible for.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Every writer is unique. Be yourself. Write your style. You can have famous authors to learn from, but do not try to be like them. Be you. I tell my six boys not to compare themselves to their siblings. Be who they are to become and encourage each other to excel in the talent given them.
Donnie W. Jackson, the youngest of five children and the only boy, was born and raised in the Midwest where he learned horseback riding from his older sister and hunting from his father. As he entered high school, his interest turned to basketball, though he never played on any team. He just enjoyed the sport. After graduation, he moved to Florida where he met a beautiful young lady who would later become the love of his life, even though his first words upon meeting her were disastrous. You will find the phrase he said in his book, “When Dark Paths Meet”.
The inspiration for writing this book comes from the fact that I now have kids. Six boys. I felt there were things in my past that my children needed to know about so they would not follow in those same footsteps. It was not easy doing so because all parents want to be heroes in the eyes of their kids. However, there are times they need to know that no one is perfect and that we all need to learn from our mistakes.
