I am an avid record collector who has acquired thousands of recordings of popular music which encompass the genres of rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, etc. I am especially fond of traditional jazz, blues and country music recordings. The nearly forty years that I have spent in pursuit of this interest compelled me to pen the popular music guides which appear on this site,”A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 1″ and “A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 2.”
I currently reside in China and was inspired to write my ebooks, “A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 1” and “A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 2,” as a means of introducing my Chinese friends to quality Western popular music.
I am also an avid birder/bird photographer and pursue these endeavors with the same fervor with which I invest my musical interests.
