Even with three suspects, an ex-husband who lives to play softball, a sexist pig ex-employee and a mystery man who he encounters with painful results, Jarvis believes it’s all in Emily’s head until a killing in her home convinces him otherwise. What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I’ve always liked detective stories, either in print or movies and TV. The idea had been rolling around in my head for many years and finally I got it down in my short story “The Case of the Missing Bubble Gum Card”. After I released that I decided to do a series of books with the same PI Jarvis Mann. This latest book “Tracking A Shadow” is that work.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The character had always been rolling around in my head for years. The PI who is living day to day, taking the crummy jobs to pay the bills. Lucky enough to once in a while get a job that isn’t the norm. That is what this story is about.
