Dale French was born on Sept 3, 1971 in Germany. Being a child of a military father, he has lived in many
places, including Fairbanks, Alaska and Cairo, Egypt. He spent the majority of his teen life in San Antonio,
Texas and graduated at James Madison High School in 1989.
After his dad retired, his family finally settled in their home state of Alabama and he currently resides in
Decatur, AL. He served in the US Army Reserves from 1989 to 1997.
Dale has loved writing since high school where he won a district award for a short story assignment. He also has
completed the Long Ridge Writers School of short story and article writing in 2012. His other interests include
martial arts and all things related.
