At twenty-two, practicing Wiccan Sophia Parsons is scratching out a living waiting tables in her Rocky Mountain hometown, a pariah after a string of unsolved murders with only one thing in common: her.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have always been fascinated with magic and wanted to write a book with unusual characters and, hopefully, show that even people who are different from us still have their own reasons for what they do.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
A lot of my inspiration comes in bits, pieces, and scraps of my everyday life. But, most often, my children inspire my characters.
