Grief and vengeance transform a law-abiding citizen into a serial killer. Is it possible to return to a ‘normal’ life after committing acts most unspeakable?
A killer stalks the streets of Los Angeles. Victims of the butcher known as ‘The Feeder’ are mutilated while still alive, with parts severed and inserted in their mouths.
When Camille places a drunken birthday phone call to her twin, Sammie becomes worried about her safety and flies to Los Angeles to bring her home. After finding the aspiring actress-turned-prostitute slaughtered in a hotel room, grief-stricken Sammie steps into the role of copycat killer. Suspecting that the killer is Camille’s abusive boyfriend, Sammie embarks on a bloody quest for revenge, copying the modus operandi of a brutal serial killer known as The Feeder. Walking the streets disguised as Camille, Sammie resolves to lure the real Feeder out of hiding. Sammie seeks out drug dealers, pimps, rapists – all men who caused harm to Camille. The men are found disemboweled, force-fed their own genitalia and carved up like human Picassos. The bloodbath will not end until Camille’s murder has been avenged.
The Feeder gives brutality a new meaning…

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This book is based on a short story I wrote about a serial killer who posed as a prostitute to lure victims. I decided to expand upon it and this novel was born. You hear about twins who lose a sibling and feel as though a part of them is missing. What if the grief-stricken surviving twin stepped over the line and became a killer?
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters developed along with the story. I started with a pair of twins, one rebellious and one a quiet but surly computer nerd who happens to enjoy hunting. When Camille’s dangerous lifestyle leads to her murder, her twin Sammie takes advantage of their identical appearance to hunt down her killer. Sammie takes hunting skills learned in the woods and adapts them to a city safari. The prey? Men. Pimps, rapists, drug dealers – all men who contributed to Camille’s demise.
The character Sammie is special, in ways that are revealed midway through the story. That’s all I can say.

“This would be my masterpiece. With Dirk subdued and rapidly going into shock, he was a blank canvas and I was the artist.
I inserted the blade of my knife into his trachea, careful not to touch the jugular veins that throbbed on either side. I dug around until I reached his larynx and destroyed it. I tore the tape from his mouth – he no longer needed a gag. He tried to scream but it came out as a wheezy whistling sound.
“Time to play Operation, Dirk,” I told him. “It takes a very steady hand…”
Starting just below his navel, I made two shallow incisions through the skin of his belly, first vertically, then horizontally. The slices intersected to form a large cross in the center of his abdomen. I pulled the skin back at the corners, exposing the bloody grayish sausage links underneath…”
