In 1964, two brilliant physicians discovered the Epstein Bar Virus (EBV). The virus affects more than half of the American population. Despite its discovery, scientists are still lost at sea about the havoc that it causes and how to address it. There are over 60 varieties of EBV, further divided into six groups according to their severity. EBV is contagious and transmission primarily happens when a person comes into contact with contaminated body fluids. It is responsible for conditions such as lupus, thyroid disorders, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, tinnitus, and vertigo.<br>
Multiple sclerosis (MS), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), hypothyroidism, and Hashimoto's thyroiditis are conditions where there is notable inflammation and damage to the central nervous system, joints, and thyroid, respectively. Patients experience symptoms such chronic weakness, fatigue, joint pain, heart palpitations and burning pain.<br>
Whereas the medical community has labelled MS, RA, hypothyroidism, and Hashimoto's thyroiditis as autoimmune conditions, William argues that the medical community is completely wrong. The core of his argument is instead that different strains of EBV lie at the root of each of these conditions.
