How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
That would take a long time to explain – each genre is very different and I’ve published in SciFi/Fantasy, Romance, Western and have written scripts in horror as well.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write – it’s that simple and that hard. English courses are good, a class on creative writing wouldn’t hurt, but don’t think you have to spend most of your time attending conferences, taking classes, etc.
Most important. Write and keep writing.
