What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I had foot surgery and couldn’t wear shoes for a while. I realized how much I loved and missed my shoes, and how they seemed to have personalities of their own. That led me to think of the shoe world — baby shoes, nurse shoes, workboots — you name it. This is the first of a series of Shoe World adventures. There is also an animated short in the works featuring Dex and Lefty.
