How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I had a hard time hooking anyone with my query letter because they couldn’t figure out what genre it was – it’s a futuristic sci fi thriller noir with some humor and a touch of romance… I guess that’s what makes it different!
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Never give up – have others in the industry read/critique you – and be open to it, but only use what you are comfortable with – and never give up!
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I’ve never liked flying, and after 9-11 with increased, embarrassing security, I wished there was a way we could just pop around the world – like teleportation! And I thought a futuristic world where teleportation is the norm would make a cool action story.
