About the Author
Ralph Nelson Willett was born and raised in West Michigan where he recently returned after thirty years. He has been married for thirty-six years to a wonderful woman, and together they have three sons and three grandsons.
His writing career began as a hobby, writing short stories that he turned in to audiobooks. Several people that listened to the audiobooks encouraged him to write more. Then one summer evening, while walking the Lake Michigan beach with his wife, he picked up a small reddish stone. That stone was the inspiration for his first novel, The Rose Stone. Ralph explains that inspiration this way: "It was amazing how the story came to be. I can only say that it was God-given. I bent down to pick up the stone and by the time I stood upright again I had the entire story in my head."
Ralph frequently uses Michigan for many of his faith-based novels. He enjoys bringing readers along for an emotional ride through the lives of his characters, weaving the love of God throughout to bring hope where all hope is lost.
"I try to show how relationships can save lives. It's the loving touch of one soul to the next that demonstrates the Christian life."
