When I succeeded with my first event, people wanted to know how I did it; how could I pull such an event off being a startup and practically no resources, no contacts. They would ask for my advice and event consulting time to help with their marketing. That was when I started documenting my experience and methods of marketing a startup/business with less or no budget. To give them a jumpstart and help them make their first thousand dollars before they are ready to take the leap. I wanted my experience to be used widely but I couldn’t spend enough time to help thousands of people worldwide. So I wrote this book, a practical workbook for marketing a startup with less or no marketing budget.
