What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The poems were inspired by a variety of events. As I discovered a new path for my spiritual beliefs, many of the poems were created as I walked this new road.

Traveling through life
We’re told that we have to
Follow the rules
There are ways to do things
Yet nature shows us in her
Very structure that
There isn’t a single straight line
In all of creation.
Life like the rocks
Beneath our feet
Has dips and twists
It curves around
There are inclines in life
In these rocks
There are declines
Which plunge to the depths
It can be treacherous
It can make us scream
With fear and delight
Like a roller coaster ride
There are no straight lines
In life or in nature
There is just life
And the crooked path we take
