Amy’s Travels is a multicultural children’s book that teaches the culture, diversity, and geography of our world through the eyes of a young girl. Based on a true story, Amy’s Travels has been released in its second edition and is used worldwide. This children’s book is complete with lesson plans and comprehensive book guide for elementary school students. It has just been selected to be the musical performance created by the Latin Ballet of Virginia.
Kathryn Starke is an elementary school literacy specialist, children’s author, and the founder/CEO of Creative Minds Publications. Her global educational company exemplifies quality literacy instruction for all children. Kathryn has a BS degree in elementary education and a Master’s degree in literacy and culture. With a decade of teaching experience in Title I/inner city schools, Kathryn wrote Amy’s Travels when she was teaching second grade. She was named of the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading in 2013 by The Authors Show.
