About Zulma Cole:
My passion for writing started since I was a teenager, but never did i make it a reality like I am doing now. I started role-playing with friends mostly fantasy and romance. That was when I knew I had a knack for writing stories that would make people laugh, love and hate my characters all in one. So after thinking long and hard I decided it was time to write my stories.
My first official book was Untapped Magic a paranormal romantic novel, however my unofficial book was Wild Ride a biker romance book. I posted this unofficial copy on a site and when I saw it take off I decided it was time for the world to know me. In my books I empower women, it is one of my favorite styles and one I know my readers will love
What inspires you to write?
Everything inspires me, events around, walking around, seeing how life takes all sorts of turns, music, family and friends.
Tell us about your writing process.
Sometimes I have to stop and write something on a notebook if I think is a good fit for one of my books. I write when I have silence in my home and that is something as of late I rarely have. I like to type away then I will read what I have typed and edit and reedit over and over again
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
They talk a lot. Sometimes I am typing about them and they tell me to stop they have a better idea so I do exactly what they ask. But yes they do talk to me and I listen.
What advice would you give other writers?
Type (Or write) never stop and if you hit a brick wall. It's ok walk away take a sip of tea or coffee then do something errands and come back maybe during this errand you have hit a place where you can say a 'yes'
How did you decide how to publish your books?
It was the economic situation I decided with self publishing because it was better for my situation right now. Would I like a publisher and agent oh yes.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I don't know what to think other than everything is so automated that if you don't do both ebooks and physical you might miss out on a bigger spectrum.
What genres do you write?: Romance, Erotic Romance, Paranormal Romance and Biker Romance
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
