What inspires you to write?
There is a complete absence of discontent when I write. Writing is very healing for me. My first book was my memoir. When you write your memoir it allows you to see your life as a whole instead of in bits and pieces.
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
I love great thinkers like Viktor E. Frankl. His book “ Man’s Search For Meaning “ has given me great insights. Dr. Wayne Dyer is another of my favorite authors. I applied much of his wisdom to my life experiences.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am always in the mood to write. I retreat to my little corner and allow my thoughts to take on images. My first step is to write notes by hand. Then I start outlining my book.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice is to connect with the reader and to be transparent. Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Vulnerability builds bridges.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I feel my books have much to offer the world. They are full of important teachings.
To work hard, better yourself, and find good in adverse situations. I wanted to publish them in order for people to have access to them. I independently published my books.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think books have a bright future. Self-publishing is the best way to go.
What genres do you write?: Memoir
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
