About Olga Toprover:
Olga Toprover was born in Russia, lived in Canada for a few years, but currently resides in Los Angeles. Olga holds Master Degree in Computer Science from Moscow State University. She is also a published media author.
Her scientific education and journalistic experience as well as living in different cities and countries formed her into the writer she is today. Olga believes that true literature is about people. Her stories, above all, are about us.
What inspires you to write?
One of my favorite authors is French novelist Francoise Sagan. I adore her books because they are about true emotions and deep feelings. Consider this: “A dress makes no sense unless it inspires men to take it off of you.”
Tell us about your writing process.
Usually I think everything through when I drive or walk. When I am ready to type I know what is going to happen, though not in details yet.
What advice would you give other writers?
Write if you can’t stop.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
It just makes sense to let it go once it is finished. Otherwise I would come back to rewriting over and over again.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
It looks like ebooks is our future.
