What inspires you to write?
Any story that comes to mind and will not leave me alone. It is a fun hobby also.
Tell us about your writing process.
I usually come up with the title first. It can come from something someone says, or something that pops into my head from a dream. Anything can become and inspiration. Once that happens, I start thinking about my cover and I write any thoughts down, no matter how short. I usually fill those in as time goes by which turns into a story. The only thing I know how to draw are stick figures so no sketches from me. I use a notebook or my laptop to take notes.
What advice would you give other writers?
Always be careful of who you purchase your ISBN. Whoever you purchase your ISBN from, is who will be your publisher and never allow anyone to have rights over your book but you. Don't be afraid to write whatever genre you want too. No one says you have to stick to one. I haven't found my niche yet. Always copyright your book before you release it to anyone.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I chose my publishing house from their ability to get my books into online bookstores. I hope to one day get my books into libraries. I wanted to allow bookstores to accept my book but at this time it would not be a good fiscal idea for me since I would have to buy back every book that is unsold if the store decides to get rid of my book.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think it is strong and will continue to get stronger since we no longer have to find traditional publishers. I would love to work with one in the future if the benefits prove promising.
What genres do you write?: Romance
