Janet A. Wilson have written several short stories and poems; several of her poems received Awards and Honorable Mentioned in the United States of America.
Her stories are precise, to the point and exact. She is inspired by people, creatures and things of rarity.
Janet A. Wilson is a mother, a legal secretary by profession and has worked both here in the United States of America and abroad. She has also has been an active volunteer through out the years and have been involved in several other leadership programs as a young woman and adult.
Her ambition at this time of her life is to write romance novels, children short stories, and poems.
She pledge to continue learning more on the art of writing as she proceeds in the literary field.
What inspires you to write?
The people, weather, nature, memories of events or something experience that may bring about an idea or concept for a title. A child with an unusual toy or something of rarity.
Tell us about your writing process.
I guess I a seat of the pants writer. As I mentioned before I retrieve my notes or ideas and type away, sometimes becoming lost in my stories.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I am none of the above mentioned, my stories come from ideas of words I may have written years ago, I flow when my thoughts are clear and I have a sense of satisfaction within my being. My characters flow from the morality and the ongoing flow of words which bring about characterization.
What advice would you give other writers?
I consider myself a writer, I have been writing poems and love letters since five years old, younger I believe. I would say to writers, Let the words flow, keep the mind clear and focus on the matter at hand.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to self-publish because, I simply did not have the money to hire a publisher.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
There are and is a reader/s for every book. People like to turn pages. Children are being born every day and so are new ideas.
