About Ichabod Temperance:
Ichabod Temperance is a silly little fellow living in picturesque Irondale Alabama, USA, along with his lovely, gracious, patient, and kind muse, Miss Persephone Plumtartt, and their furry pack family.

What inspires you to write?
Miss Persephone Plumtartt! Why, it just so happens that the smartest, bravest, most beautiful girl in the whole wide world is my inspiration! Other than her, I feel I owe it to the rest of ‘Man’ and ‘Animal’kind to detail how I constantly thwart certain doom in front of insurmountable odds to save our imperiled planet, time and tiume again, so that if my dear reader is ever called upon to do the same, they will know just what to do!

Tell us about your writing process.
I reckon my writing process consists primarily of first, experiencing outrageous, madcap adventures, and then, if I am not mauled, devoured, stomped by one of a variety of titans, or vamped to death by voluptuous, amorous, but devious villainesses, or done in by my own ingenious inventions malfunctioning on me, then I figure you all in the distant futuristic year of 2015 may enjoy my little tales.

For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I would look pretty silly walking around talking to myself, wouldn’t I? Wait. I do that anyway… Um, yeah, of course I talk with my characters. I’m just a little fellow! Many of my characters are big and scary! I understand that many readers in your universe like to read about hot, sexy, ‘Alpha’ males, but Miss Plumtartt says that I am more along the lines of being her ‘Alfalfa’ male.

What advice would you give other writers?
Hmm, if anyone out there thinks of themselves as a writer and they were to ask me for advice, I would tell them, … Don’t be such a SISSY! Put it out there! Self-pub! Write guest posts! If you are a writer, don’t hide, sock it to me! {‘Me’ being the book buying public.}

How did you decide how to publish your books?
After our little corner of the Cosmos was visited by the ‘Revelatory Comet’ and this world of the 1870’s came to be swarming with amazing invention of spring, clock, and dynamo, I invented this here Inter-di-trans-tempero-scripto-rator. This handy dandy little gizmo lets me publish my novels there in your universe of 2015. I understand that your universe was spared the visit of the ‘Revelatory Comet’. These are interesting times we are living in 1877, ya’ll.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I predict that one day, books will be printed on little bits of rubber, but while all stretched out. You could have a great big novel, redused to the size of an average cigar. With a simple reading device, the rubber book could be stretched out and enjoyed for generations to come. Protect from the damaging rays of the Sun. This will make reading available all over the world as people stroll about with veritable entire libraries in their breast pocket. A simple to assemble book stretcher that can be easily transported as a backpack or small trunk will revolutionize the written word!

What genres do you write?: I try to write steampunk/paranormal but they keep coming out as humorous!

What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
