About Hope Worthington:
Hope Worthington read her first book, Judy Blume’s Blubber, when she was seven. It began a lifelong love for literature. She reads books of every genre but is particularly passionate about paranormal romance.
While running one day, the idea for Shifting Moon sparked in her mind. She knew that she had to finish the story and share it.
Worthington majored in business finance and minored in psychology at George Washington University. She received her law degree from St. Thomas Law School and worked as a prosecutor for the state of Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenage boys, and three dogs.
What inspires you to write?
I often come up with stories to entertain myself while running. When a story takes place it my head I want to write it down and improve upon it.
Tell us about your writing process.
My process is not really a set process but I usually think it up in my head before I can sit to write it. Once I start putting the idea into words, I just keep revising to get where I want the story to go.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I try to put myself in the characters head, not really talk to them.
What advice would you give other writers?
If you have a story you want to tell don't be afraid to give it a try.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I tried the traditional route, but as a first time author it was not happening, so I went with Amazon's create space.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think there will be an increase in self publishing, however there will always be a demand for traditional publishing.
What do you use?: None of the above 🙂
What genres do you write?: YA/NA Paranoramal Romance
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
