About Gregory Kopp:
Gregory Kopp is an Amazon 5-Star Author, Graduate of Northwestern University and a Principal Consultant for Kopp Company, a privately held firm specializing in Human Capital, Enterprise Performance and Media & Entertainment Consulting. Gregory is also a Talent Ambassador for The Walt Disney Company.

What inspires you to write?
The artistic and creative aspect of my career blossomed with the writing and publication of the exciting Kopp Chronicles series of historical fiction novels. This sweeping saga is based on my own immigrant American family’s life experiences which spanned multiple continents, revolutionary upheavals, tragedy and ultimate triumph!

What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
Tom Clancy, James Michener, Charles Dickens, David McCullough

Tell us about your writing process.
I utilize an outline in writing software to write about characters and events which takes the reader away from the present day and allow them to experience another time and place for a short period of time. This allows the reader to soar and explore new ideas with the characters without the constraints of the present.

For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
My characters encompass my own shared life experience and I place them in the historical time and place to share with the reader.

What advice would you give other writers?
Keep writing. You never know if your ideas may interest another reader. Good luck!

How did you decide how to publish your books?
I was exploring my own family history and wondered about the gaps in time between certain events and what these gaps might contain. So I wrote what I thought might be happening in a series of books.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I am extremely excited about the future of publishing! All of the advantages of the electronic age is available to a current day writer including social media, blogging and the future in technology!

What genres do you write?: Historical Fiction, Romance, Mystery, Thriller

What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
