About Edward Cruz:
Edward Cruz is the #1 Amazon best-selling author of How to lose belly fat: meal plans for ultimate weight loss for men and women in 8 weeks among others. He lives in Chicago, Illinois with his family.
“I am not going to mislead you and promise that you will lose weight in a week – like many “teachers” do, while they cannot bring their own bodies in shape!
I will simply show you a working method that has helped me and many of my clients to keep our bodies toned and shaped at all times and achieve this in a fairly short time.
But the most important thing is that this technique will help you to lose weight at last and change your life forever!”
What inspires you to write?
I have long been actively promoting a healthy lifestyle. I am a fitness trainer for celebrities, a fitness model, an actor and a businessman. I and my childhood friend, who is also a fitness trainer and a model, have decided to combine our knowledge, summarizing it in this book to improve the life of our readers. You may ask: why do you need this? The answer is trivial – to improve our own lives. But how can you improve your quality of life via improving the lives of absolutely unknown people? – you may ask in turn. Again, the answer is simple – we live in a vast social environment called the planet Earth. A maple leaf falling on one hemisphere bursts the storm on the other hemisphere. In the same way, the actions of one person sets in motion the mechanism of creation or destruction of all human beings on the planet, especially his/her relatives and friends.

I use word for my writing and that’s all, my favourite tool is my mind wich was inspired by some good ideas
What advice would you give other writers?
Persistence and personal responsibility for our own future and present are the things we should lay the emphasis on.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I have several friends who have published books in my area of expertise. They each found themselves in the awful position of having demand for their book yet the publisher did not think it was worth a second printing. Therefore, these authors had to wait several years until the contract with the traditional publisher expired. Then do you know what they did? They published their books with an Amazon Kindle! I want to make sure I have control over my book and that it is available as long as it is needed. The second reason I chose Amazon kindle is that I did not want to fight the fight to get my book accepted by a traditional publishing house. I did not like the odds. LESS than one in FOUR HUNDRED submitted books get published.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future is with us now. When ebooks first became a force in the industy, publishers tried to maintain paperback style pricing for a digital product. That was a vain attempt and indie publishers simply raced in to the gap left open. Result: publishers allowed ebook prices to float – but those indie publishers who actually wanted to make money as opposed to simply finding readers, realised that revenue maximisation was likelier to happen around the $3-5 range than the $0.99 one. What we see now is probably where prices will settle, give or take a bit of ongoing downward movement. A revenue collapse in publishing analogous to what happened in the musical download market simply has not taken place, and it’s in no one’s interest (except readers’) that it should.
