What inspires you to write?
I spent many years as a corporate sales executive. I worked 60 to 70 hours a week in a high stress environment. I finally realized it was killing me. I needed to find an outlet for my dormant creativity. I found that giving away the lessons I have learned over the years was very rewarding. So that’s what inspires me is contributing whatever I can to help others find fulfillment and serenity.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am more of a seat of the pants guy, although I will pencil out ideas and a rough draft of the chapters on a legal pad. I notice that it will metamorphose as I go. It’s very much an organic process.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I have written only non-fiction so far. Although I try to include stories and examples of real life situations in the information.
What advice would you give other writers?
Just keep writing, get into a habit of writing every day.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I am a very satisfied self publisher. I was never one one had the big dream of becoming Seven King or Dan Brown. I think for my self help non fiction books I will do much better over time self publishing.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I’m not the worlds expert of course, but I do believe that it is the future. How exactly that will look is anybody’s guess. One thing for certain, the landscape will continue to change and evolve rapidly over the next few years.
