Author Bio:
I’m UK-based, and a director of an English language school for foreign students. Married, with one daughter. I have now written five novels. I would describe them as surreal novels with plenty of comedy, satire, humor, romance, sex and adventure. They’re shocking, original and respectful of nothing and nobody. You have been warned. I’m also a poet (poetry pamphlets: Wasted Leaves, 1996; I Went With Her, 2007).
The two published so far are GOOD QUEEN BETH, and GABRIELLA.
What inspires you to write?
Present state of society, plus the fantasies/demons in my own head.
Tell us about your writing process.
I think the basic theme is running around in my head for years; once I start writing it, I do outline a bit, and then, in the process of writing, it all falls into shape.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
No. They are the writer’s creation, but, if they’re valid as entities on their own that readers can believe in and empathise with, they must be left alone for the reader’s own imaginations. They don’t remain their creator’s playthings.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep going. Never give up.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Self-publish, because then you have total control.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
It’s up for grabs, with ll the recent changes, we don’t know where it’s going, but writers should band together to help influence its direction.

Professional Cover Designer
What genres do you write?
Romance, humor, erotica, satire
