In the Company of Dragons is about a race of people called the Guardians. They have been chosen by the dragons to watch over them and ensure their species existence, The Guardians also have magic and can help the other Fey that live in Ethreal become human so they can cross over and live here on Earth with us, blending in perfectly. When one of the young Guardians, Faineth helps a mermaid fulfill her dream of becoming human and living out her days with the man she loves, her father snaps and orders the entire race, dragons included, to be destroyed. What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
the air I breathe inspires me to write lol I am a huge fantasy fan. Everything from LOTR to King Arthur and all the in-betweenies!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I actually came up with these characters as I went along. I had the two main characters (that don;t even show up until book #2… I know totally unconventional) and everyone else was written to support them.
About the Author:
I was born with a pen and pad in my hands but only decided in the last 3 years to actually follow my dreams of becoming a published writer. In the Company of Dragons is the first of many books I plan on sharing with the world. I live in a small farm town in Washington State that is nestled in the foothills of Mt. Rainier and am a single mom of 5 amazing kids who keep me busy and daily give me inspiration into the world of make believe.
