How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I suppose what I write is primarily satire, but it is undeniably comedy and mysterious with the lightest hints of science fiction intermingled. So I suppose my inability to determine a concrete genre may distinguish me from vampire porn, for instance.

If you entertain yourself, you may entertain others.
Ryan Parmenter published his debut novel, “Hyperbole” as an eBook in 2012. The following year, the author-narrated audiobook and the trade paperback formats were released. A creative jack-of-all-trades, Parmenter created the artwork for the cover of “Hyperbole” and also recorded an album of 7 songs based upon song titles mentioned throughout the book.
Parmenter graduated from the University of Michigan and later graduated from The Second City Conservatory as an improvisational performer along with the woman who would become his wife.

I was depressed and had plateaued in my job. The news about continued terror scares and my unresolved feelings about my parents’ divorce and poor choices I had made inspired me to create a hodgepodge monstrosity. I think it’s funny, and some readers have agreed.
