What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I'd previously written books focusing on submarines and spies in the Cold War and wanted to write a more up-to-date book focused on current events. This novella is a bridge between my Cold War submarine military thriller series, The Tom Hilton Series, and my latest American submarine military thriller series, USS Stonewall Jackson.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I like to write both male and female protagonists who have to play the imperfect hands they’re dealt with in difficult situations. They need to be tough, witty, and prepared to deal with any problem they face.
