How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I enjoy combining elements of both thrillers and science fiction to write a fast-paced story that brings technology and science to a seemingly real-world setting. Blending these genres means I’ve got to do some background research before I put the pen to the paper, but it’s entirely worth it when the story is just as exciting to write as it is to read.

Be disciplined. Set a goal to write every day and keep it.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
As a bioengineer, I’m constantly impressed by the advances in medical science happening in research labs every day. Some of those advances bring hopes of curing diseases and improving human life, but we often forget about what happens if we don’t properly regulate or protect our medical technologies. What happens when the wrong people manipulate genetic engineering technologies for their own benefit?
