The Dominion punishes those who disobey. PIMs, known as personal identification microchips, are surgically implanted into the mandible of humans at birth, and programmed to detonate should someone decide to rise against the Dominion’s laws.
Seventeen-year-old Willow Danner was raised under the Dominion tyranny, but her parents had been born free. Growing up with a plan to vanish, Willow and her family finally escape into the mountains and the safety of the Crows’ Faction. Instead of finding asylum, Willow finds she is the object of scrutiny. Worried she exchanged one form of imprisonment for another, she decides to take fate into her own hands, and trust her instincts. As she fights for her independence, someone else wants to drag her back behind Dominion walls.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have always loved stories like Red Dawn, Hunger Games, Divergent and Harry Potter. I had been writing sweet romance for over 18 years and just couldn't write about one more naked cowboy. I finished up my publishing contracts and began to write End of Crows. It was to premier at the Denver PopCulture Con in 2020, but Covid had other ideas. After January 6th, I couldn't get anyone to market my books (by this time I had 3 published in the series) because they "encouraged uprising" and my videos on social media were suppressed (they still are) I was ready to hang up my writing hat when I won my first international book award. Since then, the series has won two more international awards and the book trailers have won over 12 international film festivals. I'm determined to get my series in front of readers, in spite of marketing and social media app developers.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Many are inspired by my own teenagers, my father and my own stubborn personality.
