How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I’m honest. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I love psychological thrillers/ horrors, but I don’t know of many books in the genre that have anything of substance to offer, that have a soul. That’s what’s different about my books: I take a lifeless corpse and impart it with a soul. 🙂
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write. Find the time of day that suits you best, and even if you don’t know what to write about, force yourself to sit down and write. It’s inertia that’s stops us from writing.
Author Bio:
Gerard Gray lives in Scotland with his partner and five year old son. By night he writes psychological thrillers/ horrors, by day he is a crime fighter. Dead Broken is his first published novel.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The passing of my parents. We had an interesting life together, if not rather sad. Dead Broken is dedicated to my dad, the sequel will be dedicated to my mum.
