Curtis Kessinger, Founder of Film School Now and author/publisher of two books Just Shoot It! and The Ultimate You joins BookGoodies host Deborah Carney to discuss how and why he decided to write his books. He also shares his views on publishing and his writing style.
From Curtis:
The initial reason I self-published my filmmaking book Just Shoot It! is that the big name in filmmaking books told me I would probably never make a dime if I published the book myself or even had him publish it. Six years later the money keeps coming in, so I am of the ilk to always prove people wrong when they say something cannot be done. Everything is possible.
My second book The Ultimate You: Achieving Greatness is my success book which gives people the information they need to be successful in whatever it is they choose. It is meant for those underdogs out there who have dreams they need to achieve and this book will give them the tools to do it.
