Comments about cover design
The cover design combines the elements of the flag of the Philippines along with the face of a Filipino girl. The girls eyes are deep and soulful and the sun from the flag placed over her eye represents hope.
The unique typeface was chosen to further enhance the look and feel of island culture.

Colors always draw my attention, but they need to be used with intention. I really enjoy this cover. The colors not only are inviting, but they cause me to look closer to see the symbolism of the colors with the title and the book’s message.
