Comments about cover design
I wanted a cover that reflected the story of a woman looking for her birth mother. My books are all set in Guernsey and the far view is of the west coast of Guernsey, while the maze is metaphorical. Claire has designed both my book covers and will shortly be working on my third. She has the knack of tuning in to what is needed and works from images we download from sites such as shutterstock, using various combinations until we’re both happy. Because my books are also in paperback she also designs the back cover, using complementary images.
Very striking overall, but the red text beneath the title and red band on the bottom are hard to see.

I like the artwork of this cover, a lot. Looks very professionally done. However I think there are too many colors used for the writing on the cover with the black, the light blue, the white, and the red. I find it distracting. With the many colors in the artwork, I would stick to just a couple colors for the writing.
