I do more illustrating than writing. That said, I do wrack my brains to get complex astrological banter into whimsical snippets.

Donna McGarry is a graduate of Steven Forrest’s Evolutionary Astrology Apprenticeship Program. A self taught artist and avid ice-skater, she’s had a deep and lifelong love for the Moon, stars and heavens. She’s written six books in the Zodiacts series and is hoping that her vision of the skies encourages little ones to dream big dreams.
I always loved the Moon, the night sky and stars. When I fell in love with astrology, I thought there might be some way to make the symbols more accessible. One day during a little meditation, I got the idea to embody the zodiac signs in whimsical little star characters. Leo and Starrkitty were born.
