A book designed for active duty US service members and vets. Provides higher learning tricks of the trade that service members use to advance their degree plans while on active duty and shortly thereafter – with a general focus on the Tuition Assistance (TA) roller coaster ride – for if and when TA becomes unavailable due to lack of funding or politics (in the news recently, remember?).
Book chapters range from how to confirm a school’s accreditation (a huge distractor if you discover your university or college is not accredited) – to the surprisingly fast CD-ROM distance education – to experiential (prior) learning and cooperative education.
The second edition contains an expanded list of military-friendly, regionally accredited colleges and universities – with links to their respective TA, military appreciation, or geographical location web pages.
Note to military-friendly universities and colleges: If you notice that your regionally accredited school is missing from the book, please feel free to write a review about this book at Amazon accordingly. Please note that the author will confirm accreditation at the official US Department of Education web site, as he notes in the book.

What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Persistence pays off. You can take a break – but never give up.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
It was very hard to make progress with university study while on active duty in the US Army. This book details ways to do things much faster – so it does not take forever. Please loan the Kindle Edition to anyone you know who is on active duty in the US military, or simply forward the Amazon link. Everyone knows someone who is on active duty – whether a family member, friend or acquaintance.
