What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Kita and the boys were in some of my other books. They were such interesting personalities, I had to listen to them tell me more of their stories. The stories grew to their own series. This is the first book in that series.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Kita and the four boys were introduced in some of my other books. Kita is actually in two different series and has developed slowly from a bit character to a lead role. The boys happened in different books and came together as friends. Theirs lives and backgrounds just shouted out that they needed to tell more of their story.
