A former lay minister and praise and worship leader recounts discovering she was in a cult and how she found the strength to leave it. With hard-won wisdom and compassion, she wraps up each chapter with insights and life lessons to help the reader identify cult abuse they may be experiencing and to encourage them in their journey to leave it behind. This is a one-of-a-kind self-help memoir on a subject that is considered taboo in the religious world.
