The writing in the business/leadership genre is often dry and cookie-cutter. Most business books have a typical tone to them – my book comes directly from my heart to yours – I share my failures, my fears and my shortcomings because they will inspire you. I try to write with an honest tone, and vulnerable heart.

Write what you know. Write what excites you. Then do it every day.

David graduated from Haaga-Helia University of Science, Vierumaki and is currently the Vice Director of Hockey for HC Eppan Pirates. David has worked in professional sports for the past decade. He is the founder of the Small World Network and is a reserve officer in the Canadian Army. David is from Kenora, Ontario, Canada.
Every year that I coach professional athletes I look for a book to help them grow as people, athletes, and leaders. Each year I find a few special athletes that I can see something in, a characteristic, an energy, something hard to define. I call this Great Promise. After much searching for the perfect book to help people unleash their great promise, I decided the book wasn’t there, and I needed to write it.
