About the Author:
I write upmarket fiction (in between commercial and literary), which takes a love of language and uses it to create richly original characters and intense, moving plots. My short stories have appeared in Gawker, io9, New Orleans Review, New Millennium Writings, South Carolina Review, Oasis, and Twelve Stories. The Surfer, my ebook novella, can be found on Amazon. I grew up in Charleston, S.C. and graduated from Emory University. After college I traveled around Europe and in Scotland I stood in the rain among bronze age standing stones and realized I wanted to be a writer. I have traveled to many far flung parts of the globe and once spent a year camping in national parks and traveling across America. I live with my wife in the Greater L.A. area.
