What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
It started out as a dream during a cross-country European trip in 2012. As I was writing it down, in the middle of the night with the only illumination coming from my phone, that dream morphed into a story spanning multiple books.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
When writing, I aim to create immersive worlds with characters my readers will feel connected to. Most of the characters in the Last Lumenian series contribute to the “fellowship of Lilla” (for lack of a better word). These characters are there to showcase and contrast multiple facets of Lilla, often creating obstacles and complications for Lilla that she had to deal with. Each character plays a vital role in the series and I hope to develop each of their stories later for the readers to feel even more connected to them.
