What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to educate the public about the Korean War which has often been described as the "forgotten war."
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I created characters to fit roles that would be critical to fighting the Korean War. A fighter pilot, a nurse, and a war correspondent. I worked on character development to show how they were affected by the war, their search for love and personal accountability.
